The man from Montjean in France - Marc 'Waswini' Bariller is the newest member of Team Pro

After an agonising decision making process and a week of speculation PKR has finally announced the latest member of Team PKR Pro. Marc 'Waswini' Bariller will be familiar to many of you as the mad Frenchman who spun up meagre freeroll winnings to become one of the best (and highest rolled) players on PKR.

He features on the upcoming issue of Stacked Magazine along with fellow pros dispensing advice for those considering making the jump to a pro career - and it would be hard to find a better model. We're thrilled to add him to the Team, here's what the man himself had to say when we broke the news last week...

Congratulations Marc, how does it feel to be part of the team?

This was amazing news! It’s the ultimate recognition of the PKR Community ... nothing could make me happier. It’s with great pleasure that I join Team PKR Pro and its five crazy players!

Were you expecting this?

It was a total surprise. Becoming part of Team Pro was my ultimate goal on PKR and I was hopeful. But the coming new French law lowered my expectations and I thought it would never happen. It’s great to see that PKR are putting so much effort into France.

Your debut for Team PKR Pro will be at the WSOP (your first trip to Las Vegas). Do you feel like you have a lot to prove?
Yes indeed ... I have to prove that I deserve this recognition and that I have something to bring for PKR.

What are you going to play in Vegas? Any objectives?
I will hopefully play in three or four events from the 20th of June to the 30th.

• Event #42 : No Limit Hold'em ($1,500$)
• Event #45 : No Limit Hold'em ($1,500$)
• Event #49 : No Limit Hold'em ($1,500$)
• Event #54 : No Limit Hold'em ($1,000$) (Qualified through PKR satellite)

And I’d like to play the Main Event

• Event #57 : Main Event World Championship No Limit Hold'em ($10,000)

It’s my first time in Vegas so obviously a final table in any event would be a huge result.

You’ve started from zero dollars on PKR and built an amazing bankroll – it must feel great to accomplish that. What advice do you have for players starting from scratch?
There is no secret. You have to be very strict in your bankroll management, and forget about skipping levels. Learn from others, learn from your mistakes, watch videos from Pros and be extremely patient. Success in poker comes from long term dedication.

Any words for the PKR community?
You can be sure I’ll do my best to represent PKR in the Poker world, and a special hello and thank you to the Fronks.

We wish you the best of luck in your career Marc!
